Technical Specifications for 2 person and 4 Persons Pedal Boat
General Information: The pedal boat, be they 2-person or 4 person is a very safe craft that can e used in calm shallow or deep waters with ease for the persons manoeuvring the craft. Since the hull is of catamaran type, the boat has exceptional stability. The boat can be used for pleasure riding or as a regular work boat. Photos are attached for your reference .

Construction:
The boat will be a twin catamaran type hull with a deck bond on top of the twin hull.
The hulls will be fabricated from good quality chopped stand glass fibers and polyester resin. The exterior of the hull and deck will be pigmented with good quality gelcoat and the colour will be as per the choice of the customer. The interior of the hull will be have adequate stiffeners at critical points to take the designed load and also for sound structural integrity. Since the exterior of the craft will have the natural glossy finish, painting is unnecessary.
*The deck consists of the seats for two persons and pedaling pit and a small area is provided for placing small articles. The deck will also have sufficient layers of glass fibers and resin. Stiffeners will be provided in way of seats and pedaling pit. Wooden packing will be given all around the boat. This wooden packing will be concealed. This gives sufficient strength against any side impact.
Fittings: The boat can be propelled by means of an impeller driven by a shaft which is connected to two pedaling cranks. The shaft is provided with two brass bushes at the crank end. The boat is easily maneuvered by a rudder. The rudder is operated by means of a lever attached to a tie-rod. The lever is located in front of the two persons. The impeller and rudder assembly is of very simple design and can be repaired/maintained very easily.
All parts of the impeller and rudder assembly are made of mild steel, galvanized and painted with anti-corrosive paint. A pair of towing rings is provided.
On the 4 person pedal boat, the deck consists of seats for 4 persons arranged 2 seats facing forward to facilitate pedaling the boat and 2 seats facing aft. All other features of the 4 persons pedal boat is similar to the 2 person pedal boat. NOTE: WE HAVE STOPPED MAKING 2 PERSONS PEDAL BOATS.
